The 10,000-seat capacity Hanson Stadium is one of CPS’s largest stadiums. The 2nd Phase of this 2 Phase project includes the renovation of the existing grandstands and all exist- ing masonry buildings below. New toilet facilities and storage spaces are being provided under the stands to meet the needs of all patrons and staff. The project boasts a new ticket booth and locker room building comprised of locker, shower and toi- let rooms along with a trainer’s room. This building has the ability to accommodate 4 teams simultaneously. Landscape enhancements around the stadium offer seating and shade areas and also improve the aesthetic of the stadium and make it more welcoming for players and visitors alike.
