This innovative and futuristic designed building houses classrooms, a 250 seat auditorium, and a health club with a 21,000 square foot gymnasium and swimming pool. A poured concrete frame supports exterior walls of precast concrete panels with punched window openings. The use of 125 foot trusses allows the creation of soaring spaces within the building and provides a dynamic, exciting environment for learning and recreation. The theatre, which features a thrust stage, radius seating, and advanced sound and lighting systems, posed a special construction challenge, since space constraints required it to be built above the swimming pool.
