The new Gompers Elementary School is located on the campus of Gompers Junior High School. This two-story, steel frame and masonry construction building includes general purpose and art classrooms, in addition to a library, gymnasium, and cafeteria. Site work included new parking with the use of permeable pavers and bioswales. The school accommodates 600 students in 24 classrooms, ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade.
