This project will implement the Chicago Public Schools Urban Model High School (UMHS) prototypical design to serve 1200 students. This steel frame and masonry construction building will include music, art and athletic functions. The building will also include a full-service purpose CPL community library within the school. This prototype building achieved LEED Gold for Schools minimum “Silver” level certification.
